WOODSTOCK, Ga. (AP) -- Cherokee County authorities are
investigating after a man was shot five times.
Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a mobile home park in
Woodstock around 7 a.m. Saturday. They found that 22-year-old Ivan
Valadez had been shot four times in the torso and once in the leg
while in his bedroom. Detectives found about nine bullet holes in
the mobile home.
Valadez was listed in stable condition at Kennestone Hospital.
His sister and mother were also in the mobile home at the time of
the shooting but weren't injured.
Authorities say it appears the shots were fired from a moving
vehicle inside the mobile home park. Investigators are searching
for a possible suspect vehicle.
