Friday is Military Appreciation Day in Valdosta.
Service men and women and their families can get into either the Lowndes High football game or the Valdosta High football game for free as long as they have their military ID's.
Members of the armed forces will also help out with the coin toss.
One army veteran said it means the world to soldiers knowing they have this support.
"Those guys are way overseas, no family, no nothing, and I know they really, really feel alone. So, even just the videotapes of these clips makes them feel a little bit at ease, like what they are doing is worth while," said Dion Crenshaw.
Crenshaw said having events like these also give troops something to look forward to when coming home.
