WASHINGTON (AP) Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is praising former
rival Barack Obama, saying the Democratic presidential nominee is
closing in on winning on Election Day.
Clinton acknowledged in an interview on NBC's ``Today'' show
Monday that she still has some disappointment over losing the fight
for the party's nomination. But she also said that she's working
hard to get Obama and Sen. Joe Biden elected.
Clinton said in an interview taped for ``Today'' from Scranton,
Pa., that she thinks Obama has substantially improved his chances
by the way he has handled questions about the country's severe
credit crisis. She said, ``I think he's closing it.''
