BOSTON (AP) -- The ninth-season winner of the reality TV show "Big Brother" is headed to court to face drug charges.
Adam Jasinski (jah-ZIN'-skee), of Delray Beach is charged with attempting to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills.
He is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court Thursday afternoon for a detention hearing.
Jasinski was arrested at a strip mall in North Reading last weekend after he allegedly showed a government witness a sock containing two plastic bags filled with oxycodone.
Jasinski won $500,000 on "Big Brother 9" in April 2008.
A federal drug agent said the 31-year-old Jasinski told him that
for the past few months, he had been using his $500,000 prize
winnings on the CBS reality show to buy thousands of oxycodone
pills and resell them along the East Coast.
