A man suspected of murdering his wife in Charlotte County, Florida is being held in the Leon County Jail.
Charlotte county investigators alerted Tallahassee Police that Scott Huss was possibly in the Tallahassee area. Huss is wanted in the murder of his wife who was found early Wednesday morning.
After an investigation, police were able to track Huss to the Frenchtown area and apprehend the suspect with no incident.
Tallahassee Public Information Officer John Creamer said, "The information that we received from the Charlotte County authority was that he was heavily armed and that he was the main suspect in the murder of his wife... so based on that information it heightened our level of procedure and our level of protocol."
Huss will remain in the Leon County jail before he is transferred to Charlotte County.
