The Florida Highway Patrol says 35 people were killed in crashes during the Memorial Day weekend, according to preliminary information.
The deaths occurred in 29 separate crashes from Friday to Monday.
There were 857 collisions investigated by the FHP. Fifty of those were classified as alcohol-related.
FHP says 145 people were charged with driving under the influence,
