Birth Control Recall

Alabama 9-17-11--

Quali-test Pharmaceuticals, based in Alabama, is recalling several birth control pill brands.

The reason...some of the pills are in the wrong slots in the blister packaging.

That means women may be taking pills that are not the right dose and it could put them at risk for unexpected pregnancy.

Some of the affected brands include, Previfem and Emoquette.

The company says women using the recalled pills should use a non-hormonal contraceptive.

It says it's investigating what caused the mix-up.
