UPDATE - 7-12-2011

Orlando, FL (AP) - A spokeswoman for a prosecutor's office
says Casey Anthony's mother will not face perjury charges for
testimony during her daughter's murder trial.

State attorney's office spokeswoman Danielle Tavernier said
Tuesday that prosecutors have decided against charging Cindy
Anthony. She initially told police she did not search for
chloroform on the family computer, but at the trial she said she
did.

Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings says authorities are also
investigating a witness tampering allegation. He would not
elaborate.

He spoke to reporters during a wide-ranging news conference a
week after Casey Anthony was acquitted of murder in the death of
her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony.

Casey Anthony was found guilty of lying to law enforcement and
is to be released from jail Sunday.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - July 12, 2011 -

A sheriff in Florida says Casey Anthony's mother could face perjury charges for her testimony during her daughter's murder trial.

Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said Tuesday there have been
discussions with prosecutors about filing perjury charges against
Cindy Anthony and a decision could come soon.

The sheriff spoke to reporters along with other officials who
investigated the disappearance and death of 2-year-old Caylee
Anthony in 2008.

A jury last week found 25-year-old Casey Anthony not guilty of
murder in her daughter's death. She was found guilty on four
charges of lying to law enforcement officers and is to be released
from the Orange County Jail on Sunday.

Cindy is guily of lying on the stand, she should be charged, if it were someone else they would be chrged, she is not special. The Anthony family is afflicted with narcissism (inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity)self-centered, smug, egocentric, therefore they lie to save face, it's called "Narcissistic Personality Disorder". George Anthony is a liar, Cindy Anthony is a liar, Lee Anthony is a liar, Casey Anthoney is a liar, the web of lies they concocted is the reason no one can figure out exactly what happened to Caylee, all of them are involved. George Anthony and his inflated eqo on the witness stand is the reason Casey was not convicted, his behavior was/is/has always been suspicious. What does he really know about this, he can't say, his narcissism will not allow him to. Casey was convicted of lying, which the Defense acknowledged up front, she was not covicted for the death of Caylee because there was no real evidence that she was the culprit, her actions were suspicious, however, suspicion does not prove guilt. The reason Casey lied about Caylee being missing for 31 days, partying during that time and implicating a non-existent babysitter shows that she is a narcissist like her father, reality is painful to them, it diminishes their self-esteem. I personally am still trying to figure out why the authorities did not drain that swamp in August and why George attempted to kill himself. What did he mean when he said he failed Caylee. Solve that mystery and everything will fall into place.

Will this case ever go away. Reminds me of the OJ case. No matter what the decision, so one is not happy. I may not agree with the outcome, but I respect the judge and jurors. They were there the entire time of the trial, not any of us. People, if you disagree with this so much, get in there and fight to have the rules and statutes changed.

Casey Anthony lied and was charged with perjury, so the mother being treated differently, just shows the additional flaws in the judicial system.

Casey was not charged with perjury, she was charged (and convicted of) lying to law enforcement officers. There is a difference, but both deal with lies a deceit.

This white mother lied for her white daughter because she didn't want her to go to prison where she belonged. This is what white people do for their children to help them escape jail/prison/juvenile detention...they lie, make excuses, etc. To white parent's it doesn't matter if their child is guilty or evil(with white people those terms are interchangeable) as long as they continue to be free, it is all good.

Please stop playing the 'race card.' Lying is not limited to one particular race, nor is the criminal act. Pointing fingers at one particular race only makes you more ignorant. Yes, I'm black, and I said it!! Get off that color card, and grow up.

You can say their daughter killed their grand-daughter all you want, but you can't prove it.
