Droopy Drawers Enforcement

Prepare to pull up those baggy pants...Or else. If Governor Scott signs off, that will be the law in Florida's public schools beginning this fall.

But, it's that 'or else' that has many school administrators worried their workload could be about to grow. If a student's caught wearing baggy pants, their principal would have to call their parent.

On the second offense, they'd be banned from taking part in extracurricular activities for a full week, and on the third offense, they'd be suspended from school altogether.

By the way, at that point, the principal would have to meet with the parent in-person.

Add to that the long list of other duties a principal faces - everything from evaluating teachers to complying with the class size amendment, and big britches may well prove to be a big burden.

Not only should they ban the droopy drawers for all ages in a public place, BUT THEY SHOULD BAN THE "BOOM BOOM" RADIOS PERIOD!!!!!!!! They are inflicting damage to everyone's ears not just they're own ears by playing that garbage! Not only is it too loud, but most of it is also indecent.Unfortunately there is rental property within a few hundred yards of our home and my wife came home from work one day a few weeks ago and one of our trailer trash neighbors was playing that loud garbage and from what she heard it was nothing but a lot of obscene disgusting language discribing disgusting sexual acts. they should be locked up under the jail house for playing that loud disgusting garbage. those who like that garbage and like to play it are obviously inbreds and outright trashy people!

I love it how all these comments are in regards to men being gross and grabbing themselves to hold their pants up. What about the women who wear barely nothing or they're clothing is so tight they're eyes are about to pop out of their sockets. Funny how nobody mentions that type kinda stuff! Parents need to do they're jobs and parent their children. As for adults, have some respect for yourself and others!

While I definitely classify myself as a progressive, borderline liberal, I must say I am 100% in favor of adding "drooping pants" to indecent exposure laws, making it illegal to wear pants below the hip anytime and anywhere, not just on school campuses. Would the perpetrators of such fashion even do it if they truly knew where and why the trend developed? For those that are unaware, it developed in the prison system, as the lower one wore his pants in prison, the more receptive he was to others advances in trade for protection from other prisoners. So yeah, you get the picture.

You don't sound like a liberal to me. More like a racist.

To keep the pants from falling off, these losers have to hold their pants up at the crotch, how disgusting is that?

This is a direct result of lazy liberal parenting. Come on parents, do your job. And to you Saggers, pull up your pants and at least pretent to be a man.

Lord forbid an administrator or pricipal has to do their job. These people whine about the cuts being made then argue that they don't want to do the work. And again, Lord forbid the parents get a call and actually have to get involved and take responsibility that their child is a slop and causing a disruption. The American education system has finally reached the level of prepetual stupidity. No effort is needed anymore. Way to go people!!
