For the first time in more than 50 years, commercial flights from the Tampa Bay area are able to travel to Havana, Cuba.

President Obama recently eased travel restrictions. The first flight departed Thursday, Septemeber 8th. There will be two flights offered every week out of Tampa International Airport.

Although some disagree about doing business with Cuba, many in line say the flights are needed.
