Joplin, MO 9-11-11

The minds of many today are on the 9/11 tragedy, but the healing process from another tragedy took place in Joplin, Missouri Friday.

Joplin's high school football team had its first home game since the tornado.

Joplin has made enormous progress in just the short three and half months since May 22nd and the EF-five tornado that tore up a good portion of the town.

The stadium is the only piece of Joplin high school that's still intact.

Unfortunately, a win on the field was not in the cards for Joplin.
