Tallahassee, FL 9-21-11

An environmental group arrested “King Coal” at the state capitol Tuesday in an effort to promote clean energy.

The arrest was part of a live performance highlighting the environmental and heath risks associated with fossil fuels.

Ron Saff, a medical doctor, emceed the event.

Saff says fumes from burning coal harms the lungs.

“Although these coal plants cost us billions of dollars in health care cost, our Florida government is essentially giving them a free pass. We all have a right to breath clean air, but Florida’s numerous coal plants infringe on that right.”

The arrest of King Coal play was acted out to promote the “Moving Planet” event.

Moving Planet is a green energy celebration taking place in 2,000 cities around the world this Saturday.

Robert: Yes, we all have private planes & suburbans. Glad you know us all so well ;-) Actually, there were hybrids, electric cars, & carpooling involved in this event. Onlooker: Seems like perhaps you have too much time on Your hands ;-) Jeff: Yes, we have electricity. We are, however, supportive of efforts to create a greener source of power. While I personally am learning as I go, the organizers of this event are very educated in many types of renewable energy resources & would be happy to share their knowledge with you.

It's not a pollution problem, it's a population problem. It y'all go off yourselves, things will get better for me. Seriously, bacteria grown in a dish will expand in population until they drown in their own waste. Think of the planet as a dish and ?

I wonder if they drove their dirty exhaust emitting cars to the capital. Hypocrites.

You people are hypocrites. Show me the examples you have set in your life for all of these greener ideas, before you tell anyone else how to conduct their lives. Go hug a tree. Go pet a manatee. Quit wasting energy on your rediculous promotions. You are probably a bunch of littel Al Gores that use, use, and then tell people to conserve. Come back when you move to a deserted island and do without. Come back then and arrest "King Coal." Hypocrites indeed.

This is really more manifestation of the Obama green mentality that has already cost the US taxpayer billions. We all need to understand that we don't have to think like the gree people just because they tell us to....green is ok, but extreme green is nuts.
