GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney was quick to point out today's stagnant job numbers in order to push his own agenda.

He says "From my first day in the office, my number one job will be to see that America once again is number one in job creation."

He reminded the folks here at the Republican National Hispanic Assembly he'll be announcing his own jobs plan on Tuesday, two days ahead of President Barack Obama's speech.

Romney says his plan will be a detailed one that will make business taxes competitive with other nations. It eliminates burdensome regulations, explores our natural resources, and prepares the workforce for the modern economy.

"I think he really hit the points that needed to hit in Florida." Political expert, and USF professor Susan MacManus says while every election is important, 2012 is perhaps a pivotal year for many Americans. "I think a lot of people are anxious about next year's election because they desperately want the economy to turn around."

While voters like Norma Reno were happy to hear about jobs their minds on who they'll vote for next year aren't made up quite yet. "I'm going to listen to everybody...this election is going to be a big decision for everybody."
