A young navy sailor was beaten so badly Saturday morning his family says he will need reconstructive surgery.
Reports say that two men beat 23-year-old Robert Turritto in Orange County, Florida around 6:00 a.m. Saturday.
Dennis Bugey say he was wearing a navy physical fitness uniform and was riding his bike to the Wilson Reserve Center.
"His eyes were closed…he's got a broken nose, separated septum which the navy said they're going to need to do reconstruction on."
Turritto's parents say he's been in the navy reserves for three years and almost always rides his bike there.
His attackers took his bike, his wallet and his cell-phone after brutally beating up on him.
Turrito is home from the hospital but will be out of commission and unable to serve for awhile.
