Occupy Oakland Shooting

Oakland, CA---

Police are investigating a shooting near the Occupy Oakland protest in California. At least one person was seen being put on a stretcher. No word on what may have led to the shooting or the condition of the victim. Witnesses say four to six shots were fired. Some of the protesters tell local media they didn't recognize the victim and that he may not be part of the encampment.

As a former Californian , I understand the situation there. Early release for 30,000 prisoners due to budget problems , Laws that lean toward protecting the rights of Illegal aliens and criminals rather than Citizens , Cities all over that State sadly are much worse than this. (shakes my head.)
