Mobile, AL. 10-9-11
The occupy Wall Street protest has spread from New York to the Gulf Coast.
About a hundred protesters took to the streets of downtown Mobile yesterday protesting greed and demanding better wages and jobs.
One protester, who declined to give her name, spoke out to explain what their movement is all about.
"Corporate greed is everywhere.. We're losing our middle class. The billions of dollars didn't just disappear from housing. Somebody got it. We're all pro-business, we're all pro-capitalists, but we want a level playing field. and we don't have it now."
Similar protests have popped up in New Orleans, Jacksonville, Tampa and other cities across the country.
