Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Key West

Frightening moments at the Key West, Florida Airport Thursday, November third, when a small plane was forced to crash land. The twin engine Cessna slid to a stop at the end of a runway, just after noon. Five people were on board, but none of them were hurt. Investigators are now looking into the cause of the crash. This is the second emergency landing at the Key West Airport this week.

The real crash plane was a Citation. One with twin jet engines, bad brakes, terrified passengers and surprised pilots. The emergency situation developed on the runway and concluded beyond the runway. If the pilots had been Navy-trained, they would have firewalled that puppy and gone around. Perhaps to a field with a longer runway. Whooooosh!
