ATLANTA (AP) -- Small businesses in Alabama harmed by excessive rain in April and early May can apply for federal disaster loans.
Small Business Administration officials say businesses in Baldwin, Escambia, Geneva and Houston counties may have been affected by excessive rain concentrated in Florida.
The loans can be up to $2 million, and eligibility is determined based on the company size, type of activity and its financial resources. Loan amounts and terms are set by the agency.
An application can be filled out online or obtained by calling the agency's customer service center.
