Parking Lot Bodies Ruled Murder Victims

On Tuesday, an employee at the Prince Murat Motel found a man and a woman dead inside their car in the parking lot, and they'd been there for several days.

Thursday, police announced that both had been shot to death, but when, where and why are still unclear.

Stewart Clendinen, Tallahassee Police spokesman, says, “We don't know who did it. We don't know if they died there. We don't know where they died. We are treating this as a homicide and the homicide-assault unit is investigating all possible leads."

The double murder victims are identified as 21-year-old Jamila Byers and 22-year-old Bryan Dyson.

Dyson was a TCC student. A family friend says he was last seen Saturday morning, making plans for a friend's birthday, a party he would never attend.
