We now know how a mother and her three children were killed, but the question remains of who and why.
The shock and outrage continues in Marianna. People are still puzzled over the murder of 19-year-old Danielle Baker and her three young children.
Lou Roberts, Marianna Police Chief, says, "It's very upsetting to have to work a crime like this, but it's also very motivating that we can’t to get the person responsible."
Investigators released more information Tuesday as to how the four were killed. They say the mother, Danielle, died of a gun shot wound, and her children, ranging in ages three weeks to three years, died after they were bound with duct tape.
They're not saying why Danielle's daughter was left untouched.
Steve Meadows, State Attorney with the 14th Judicial Circuit Court, "Somebody out there knows who would duct tape a three week old child."
Detectives say they've questioned more than 40 people, including the fathers of the children. Still, no arrests, but the calls are coming in.
Investigators are not revealing many other details because only the killer or killers would know.
We do know there doesn't appear to have been a forced entry. As for motive, Marianna Police Chief Lou Roberts says he'll leave no stone unturned until he finds out who did it and why.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call 850-526-5000. There is a $25,000 reward.
