The heavy rains over the past three days have folks living along local rivers concerned about flooding.
The Suwannee River has already over flown its banks in the Hamilton County town of White Springs. Even though there was plenty of sunshine on Saturday, officials expect local rivers to continue to rise.
River watchers say they're concerned the floods are occurring so early in the new year.
So far, the Suwannee River isn't threatening nearby roads in Hamilton County like it did last fall after all the hurricanes, but residents say they will keep an eye out over the next few days.
