There are quite a few memorable stops in Madison County, and it's always fun to wrap up your tour with good conversation and good food.
In downtown Madison, you'll see quite a few historic building, and nestled in the town's square you'll find plenty of places to please your palate. One of those eating establishments is Fat Daddy's.
Alesha Wing, a Fat Daddy's employee, says, "We have the best subs in town, and we have the hottest sauce you can't get anywhere else, and we have the wall of fame."
The sensational sandwiches have left some patrons boasting about the place.
Gene Dim, a patron, says, "It's the best hot subs in the county; I'll say in the country.”
And if you're not in the mood for a sub, then here's some food for thought. Next door you'll find lots of delectable delights that will tempt your taste buds.
Desiree James, a patron of Food for Thought, says, "I eat here quite a bit, and I love to eat here because you always get your money's worth and you always have good food."
Another watering hole to get your money's worth is at Ken's Barbeque. There you'll find ribs that are slow cooked, making 'em melt in your mouth.
John Lewis explains, "I love coming to Ken's. The food is good, the service is great. You can get out and in if you're in a hurry."
So hurry on down to Madison County where the food is good and the people will welcome you with open arms. Our very own Rob Nucatola was in Madison Wednesday for the live weather at noon tour. He heads to Valdosta next Wednesday.
