A murder suspect is behind bars Sunday evening after days on the run from authorities. Danny Joe Brown is the second suspect in the murder of Tallahassee resident Mylon Lowe, who was found dead in his apartment.
Tallahassee police say around 10:30 Sunday morning they received a tip that Brown was in Gadsden County. Authorities pursued the lead and arrested Brown.
LT Brian Donaldson with the Tallahassee Police Department said, "Tallahassee communications received a tip from a citizen that Mr. Brown was located at a residence in Gadsden County. That information in return was forwarded [to the] Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office. Within about 30 minutes they responded and took Mr. Brown into custody without any incident at all."
Brown was wanted on felony murder, home invasion, grand theft of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Another suspect, 17-year-old U'dreaka Andrews, is already in custody.
