Tuesday night he was booked and put behind bars. In the back of this patrol car sits 29-year-old Bruce Antonio Ling, Jr., who's been on the run for months.
OFC Chris Chase, spokesman for the Tallahassee Police Department, says, "Because of tips and because he's been profiled on WCTV on the Most Wanted Program, authorities were able to pinpoint a location of where he would be."
Our cameras were the only ones rolling as Ling was brought to the Leon County Jail late Tuesday afternoon, but not before leading members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force on a hot pursuit.
Sam Bruce of the task force says, "We got into a chase through the woods. We had k-9 unit that was available that tracked him through the woods."
Chris Chase adds, "He was found hiding at a relative or his mother's house out in the country in the Chaires area."
Ling, who has a long criminal history, was wanted on charges of kidnapping, battery and burglary. Ling is expected to have his first appearance before a judge Wednesday morning.
