One farmer is tired of the rising cost of gas, and so he's coming up with his own fuel. It's made from cow patties.
They take the patties and run them through a generator to supply their own electricity. Scientists are extracting methane gas from the waste, which takes the smell out of the manure.
Then the odorless patties can be used as fertilizer. Farmers say the result is a socially, environmentally and economically beneficial form of fuel.
