Jerry Ferris says there are several qualities that come into play from self confidence to stress management.
Ferris says, "It’s the sincerity aspect that's so important. If people believe you care and believe you are sincere and genuine, that goes a long way. That's one of the dimensions of political skill."
Ferris and his wife Pamela Perrewe just released their book on the subject of political skill. They say while many people are born with it, others can acquire it through training, and drama classes.
