The Refuge House held a candlelight vigil and speak out for survivors of domestic abuse.
It's an annual event at Lake Ella Park.
Wednesday evening, more than 100 people came out to celebrate abuse survivors and to support those still living with violence.
"It's important for us to let survivors know we're here its not their fault, that so many women have been on this path before them,” says Refuge House Executive Director Meg Baldwin.
"I've been a victim of violence myself and I think this kind of work is really important and I'm committed to helping women and bettering our lives,” says volunteer Maria Morales.
The Refuge House offers various services to victims of domestic abuse.
If you feel that you are a victim, their 24-hour hotline is 850-681-2111 or 1-800-500-1119.
