It's been about six weeks since Hurricane Katrina uprooted families and college students.
First year law student Buddy Musgrove is one of more than 70 evacuees who now calls Florida State University home.
The former Loyola University student says he is just now starting to feel settled. In fact, he's hoping to stay in Seminole Country.
Musgrove says, "If nothing else, just the entire academic year so I can have some sense of consistency is the big thing right now. Not having to be uprooted and go look for another place to live."
FSU admissions officials say they've heard the same requests from several other displaced students. Musgrove says FSU has been nothing but helpful during this trying time.
