Homecoming is in full swing at Florida State University, and Friday hundreds gathered for the annual homecoming parade.

The sounds of the homecoming parade are always a favorite among alumni and students. College Avenue was lined with folks young and old taking part in all the fun, and of course, it all leads up to the big game.

Sarah Budd, an FSU graduate, says, "FSU is an awesome college. I have four children and I hope someday one of them will attend FSU. It's homecoming, it's spirit, it's garnet and gold all the way."

The grand marshal for this year's parade was FSU Trustee and former Secretary of State Jim Smith, who was joined by a host of other dignitaries.

Kickoff against Maryland is set for 3:30 at Doak Campbell Stadium.
