Tallahassee Robbery Arrests Made

An anonymous caller tipped off police who believe the men may be responsible for even more crimes.

Thirty-nine-year-old Demetrice Waller and 43-year-old Anthony John were arrested early Monday morning. Together they're suspected of robbing delivery drivers on four separate occasions; one from Papa John's on September 1, another Papa John’s driver Saturday night, and two drivers Sunday night from Jimmy John's and Hungry Howie's.

SGT Mark Ormerod of the Tallahassee Police Department says, "We'll, it's an armed robbery, and with armed robbery, covers life. Life is life, so they are looking at four counts of life."

John has been charged with two counts of armed robbery and Waller is charged with four counts. It's interesting to note no guns were used in any of these crimes. The weapon of choice was box cutters.

Both men are being held at the Leon County Jail.
