A Tallahassee man accused of gunning down his estranged wife in front of their children is now facing the death penalty.
This week prosecutors filed paperwork saying they intend to seek the death penalty against 37-year-old Ervin Davis.
Davis is accused of shooting and killing his estranged wife Laisha Davis in front of their southside home as their two young children watched. A male friend of Davis' was there too, but he was not shot.
Davis was a deputy in Gadsden County.
