Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist says the BP/Amoco station on Thomasville Road near I-10 raised its prices 72 cents per gallon immediately following Hurricane Katrina. He says conditions did not warrant the increase.
But it doesn't end there; Crist filed the states second price gouging lawsuit.
The station is owned by Island Food Stores which sets the pump prices.
Back in September the Attorney General's Office filed a lawsuit against a Swifty Stars gas station for alleged price gouging.
