An FSU student is arrested after Tallahassee Police find more than $100,000 worth of marijuana growing inside his apartment.
Tallahassee Police officers seized 69 plants this week in his Indian Village Trail apartment.
Undercover officers say the chemical engineering student was selling marijuana out of his apartment, and it was painfully obvious.
"From the minute the door was opened you can smell it, it's overwhelming, the smell of marijuana and you could see the bright light. The lighting upstairs was the grow lighting, which is high intensity stuff. It's very bright like stadium lights and you can see it. It's very obvious."
Twenty-two-year-old Benjamin Lewis faces a handful of charges for his homegrown operation, including possession of marijuana with intent to sell it. Court records show he's been released on bond.
