FSU Child Care Grant

It's a nearly $750,000 cash infusion, allowing FSU students to get child care without breaking the bank.

The federal funds are part of an initiative called "Child Care Access Means Parents in School."

Without the funding, some parents would have to drop out.

Rita Moser, FSU Director of Housing, says, "We would have to charge $800 and that would be out of reach for most students unable to pay for service."

Currently, the center charges $392 per child. The FSU Infant and Toddler Center services 22 children.
