The annual Boston Mini Marathon, one of south Georgia's longest running "family events," has wrapped up,
As usual, the race snaked through the streets of Boston, which is east of Thomasville.
People who weren't running got to enjoy plenty of arts and crafts, and of course, plenty of food.
Race volunteers say this day is special because there is something for everyone.
"It's a great family event," Paula Roberts, a race volunteer, said. "We have a lot of stuff for the kids. We have a bouncy house, we have pony rides, and it’s just a fun filled day for everyone to come out. You've got the race, we've got a walk. The kids can enjoy the fun run while the parents do the walks and everything."
While this year's event in Boston has wrapped up, visitors said they are already planning for next year.
