If it seems your dog has developed some bad habits lately, it may not be something the pooch can help.
Best Friends Dog Rescue founder Laurie Deese says dog owners often think their four-legged friend is just "acting out." However, it could be health related.
For example, if your pup starts relieving himself in the house it could be a kidney infection or kidney stones.
Deese adds, "Puppies chew up everything in the house, maybe the puppy is teething and so they need lots of toys to play with. It's not their fault. Their teeth are sore. They have sore teeth!"
Deese recommends seeing your veterinarian when bad habits begin. If you're interested in adopting a dog from Best Friends Dog Rescue, call (229) 377-1538.
