It was a happy homecoming for some local heroes.
A group of soldiers from Tallahassee are now home with their families after spending almost a year in Iraq.
Friday afternoon the brave men and women were welcomed home with open arms.
"I was so happy," said four-year-old Lydia Moberly hugging her father's leg.
Her dad, SPC Mark Moberly, looked down at Lydia and his other son and daughter and said, "I missed the kids so much. They've grown so much, but especially my wife," he said with his arm around her. "I missed her too so much."
The members of the 351st Company were stationed north of Baghdad where they handled mail for more than 100 units.
