The new Medicare prescription drug coverage is causing some confusion.
According to the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, they receive around 80 to 100 calls a day from senior citizens.
Eulinda Jackson says most callers have questions about deadlines and how to determine the benefits of each plan.
Jackson says, "Which is where Shine comes in by offering free, unbiased counseling to help them decide which plan will fit them best."
The number to call with your questions is 1-800-96-ELDER. The deadline for enrollment into the new prescription coverage is May 15, 2006.
