There's more information coming to light now in the wake of a meth lab bust in Wakulla County. Investigators are now calling it the largest methamphetamine lab they've uncovered in the region.
Sixteen people are now behind bars and the crime scene at 9 Myrtle Avenue has been condemned.
Investigators say a 40-day cocaine investigation led them to the house where thousands of dollars worth of drugs were seized.
MAJ Dale Wise of the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office says, "There was close to 3,000 grams of meth. It runs between $100 and $125 a gram on the street.”
MAJ Wise says even more arrests are expected in this case as the investigation continues.
