A blood drive challenge between fans of the two colleges has been going on since November 1.
Saturday was the final day to give the gift of life in the name of your team, but some gave blood regardless of team rivalry.
John Warford donates blood each year. He says, "It's one of those things like air, we don't think about how important it is until we're missing it or we're short of it, so it's something I have plenty of. Why not share it?"
The College Avenue Seminoles Club initiated this blood drive. The Southeastern Community Blood Center will announce which school's fans won the challenge on Monday.
