The holiday parade featured 82 entrants, mostly floats, and local school marching bands. Organizers kept their fingers crossed all day as showers moved through the area.
But even a little rain wasn't enough to keep parade enthusiasts away.
Kelly Shiner said, "We're having a good time, even though it's raining we're having a good time."
"Just come and have a good time, and bring the kids and enjoy it."
The Thomasville Christmas parade kicks off the city's holiday celebrations. Victorian Christmas takes place December 8 and 9.
