It was a big weekend for Florida State, and not just on the gridiron.
Famed prima ballerina and FSU dance professor Suzanne Farrell was among those honored at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC Sunday night, 12/4.
She started dancing with the New York City Ballet at the age of 16 and was considered master George Ballanchine's muse, dancing lead roles for the next 20 years.
Farrell shared the spotlight Sunday night with the likes of stage and screen giants Robert Redford, Tony Bennett and Tina Turner. You can see that gala on CBS, December 27 at 9 p.m.
