The 12 days before Christmas are when charities typically see a rise in donations.
The Christmas Connection is hoping that trend is still alive and well. The organization is collecting new or slightly used items for families, everything from bicycles to clothing.
Volunteer Maureen Hemmerly says, "We always have a need for coats and warm clothing. We also have a need for kitchen supplies. We have a lot of heaters that people need."
Cash donations are also collected and used to help families throughout the year with utilities, rent and other emergency assistance.
You can drop off donations at the warehouse on the corner of Old Bainbridge Road and Tharpe Street in the old Winn-Dixie building.
