One of Bobby Bowden's sons has been indicted in an alleged securities fraud conspiracy that cost investors $10 million. The federal indictment alleges that R. Stephen
Bowden and five others sold unregistered securities to 14 residents of Alabama, Florida and Tennessee in a scheme called the Millennium Fund.
Coach Bowden himself lost $1.5 million in the scheme. Stephen helped his father write the book, The Bowden Way. Mark White, Stephen Bowden’s attorney, issued a statement saying his client is a victim in the scheme.
