LHS Band to the Rose Parade

Here they go again.

Senior Jacob O'Neal says, "The senior class has now done the top three parades in the country."

Band director Charles Todd says, "We've done the Macy's Parade in 2003, we were able to do the 2005 Inaugural Parade."

The Lowndes High Georgia Bridgemen play for more than just Vikings fans at football games, and this time they'll be playing for a national audience on January 2 in Pasadena.

Senior Meghan Schunhoff says, "We work really hard, we worked hard since July, since mid-July and it'll all pay off on January second in the Rose Parade."

It's a day the band director hopes they'll never forget.

Todd says, "I think they'll have memories that will last them a lifetime."

The band leaves for California on December 27. Until then, they'll continue practicing their rendition of Carlos Santana classics.
