Letters to Jesus

Postal workers in Israel have delivered hundreds of letters addressed to God at the Wailing Wall, Judaism's holiest site.

The Israeli postal service sorts more than two million pieces of mail daily, and inevitably some of those letters are addressed to the Holy Land, Jesus or God, but rather than consigning the letters to bins of undeliverable mail, letters addressed to God are collected and deposited at the Wailing Wall a few times a year.

Postal workers say they take the letters seriously and fulfill their mission by taking them to the chief rabbi of the Wailing Wall.

The letters are considered private conversations with God and they don't open them.
