Thirty pounds of marijuana was delivered to an undercover narcotics officer with the Tallahassee Police Department.
Investigators say the undercover officer was able to work into a group of suspected drug dealers in town, and arranged to have the 30 pounds, or $130,000 worth of marijuana delivered to him last week.
SGT Ernie Stoll says, "It's a little unique because we don't do as much undercover type work as we once did. We normally have these other sophisticated means. This is more kind of a throw back style of investigating."
Tallahassee police say it's not often they can take this much marijuana off the streets at one time. The name of the suspect is not being released at this time.
