Holiday Cheer Delivered to TMH

Santa's getting ready for his long trip around the world, just one more night of rest, so one of his helpers, a former stroke patient at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, is taking over to deliver gifts at TMH's rehab center.

And those holiday presents are thanks to the Adopt a Patient program, which is in its tenth year at the rehabilitation center.

The patient with the best set of pipes, David Wingate, led staff and Santa with some holiday favorites as they delivered the gifts.

David Wingate says, "I'm here in this wonderful hospital where everybody is cheerful and upbeat and happy, and it is so wonderful to be hurt in a place like this with so much cheer."

And the patients say they are thankful for those of you who remembered them this holiday season. You too, Santa!
