Sunday marked the eighteenth year Trinity United Methodist Church hosted "A Community Christmas Dinner." Volunteers served up a traditional dinner with all the fixings.
The church opened its doors to anyone in the community who wanted a hot meal or just wanted to socialize.
Volunteers say each year they serve between 200 and nearly 500 hungry faces.
Gloria Whitaker, a volunteer at the Christmas dinner, said, "It's great! What's really neat is that we see people once a year you know they come out every year because it's a festive time and people just like being here."
Volunteers say the Christmas dinner is possible because of donations from the community.
