FEMA Funds to Help Homeless in Georgia

The money is part of the federal emergency food and shelter program.

Officials say the money is used to help people in non-disaster related emergencies with food, shelter, rent, utility services.

Thomas County is receiving nearly $20,000 to help the hungry and homeless, and Grady County will receive more than $10,000.
